1979 Contessa 39' Sailboat Alameda, CA

Description

I have a 1979 Contessa 39 sailboat for sale. Designed by Doug Peterson and built by Jeremy Rogers Ltd. in the UK. It's a simple boat, fast, and needs some TLC. This boat sails and works fine but will need some care to get it in tip top shape.
The engine is a Watermota Seapanther 29 horsepower. Diesel fuel. The engine runs great but needs starting fluid on cold start ups. There are no glo plugs but rather an atomizer that feeds into the air intake. The atomizer does not work, thus the starting fluid.
2 main sails (1 has a rip in it), 2 jibs, 1 storm jib, + more.
Registered through August 2017.
