French Jouet 22' "Golif" Sailboat

RARE French 1968 (Craigslist could not list this year!) Jouet Golif 22 foot sloop. Priced for honest, quick sale. Fractional Ocean Cruising Boat. Price reduced for quick sale. Only 3.6 Draft. Perfect for Chesapeake or elsewhere or even Blue water. Nimble sailing sloop with beautiful lines and French style. Strongly constructed hull. Was going to restore but on extended military duty I needing a liveaboard! Functional sails and basic rigging. Interior Spartan but all there. I would restore, following haul out. Great 16 hour 2-stroke 8 HP Mercury just serviced by Intercoastal w/ 1 year warranty. Depth finder, anchor, life vests etc. Owner lives in Lutherville, MD. Just had out in 17 Knot winds and it single-handled very well. Very nimble with great engine cut-out well design. No clunky hang off outboard. Home tell show contact info Firm on price as this is worth it.
One if the first Fiberglass sailboats, so very heavily built "Classic Plastic." . A favored classic midget ocean racer almost never for sale- certainly not for this price. Purchased from long-timer owner but do not have time to restore. Sail worthy NOW!! Sail regularly actually. This boat has not and will not lose value, considering rarity and condition. No trailer for this great price, so please don't ask? Yes would benefit from having hull psinted. Please no tire-kickers/nit picker or "What will you take games, OK??" My preference would be to keep this classic, but I am buying a larger blue water. This is worth restoring if you know what it is, or just sail and have fun with a boat which once sailed across the Atlantic. I just had out in 17knot winds solo.I have never seen another, and I live on the Chesapeake. No Trailer, so don't ask if it has one OK? .
