Circa 1990 Halter Marine Mark II Fast Attack Patrol Boat
1991 Halter Marine Mark MOD II
Description
Rare is a word often over used in the online world. However, this one truly is. This is believed to be the only vessel or this type in private ownership. Originally destined to become a military museum exhibit the funding dried up and so we have this boat up for sale. Of course the government engaged in a de mill process with a fork lift and chop saw. Thankfully they did not perforate the hull below the water line. The openings were "clean cut" back to solid kevlar in anticipation of repairs. The boat was painted to original paint scheme as a guide base for final paint after repairs. Obviously this will fall to someone else to complete. A castered work cradle was fabricated to allow for work on the project and is included in the sale. Most running gear has been removed and it should be noted that trim tabs in the photos have been removed and placed on another renovation. In short...yes it could be rebuilt and put in the water. That would not be a small undertaking. But no major restoration of a high performance boat ever is.
