Description
The boat was my project to make the perfect sailboat, but life threw some curves - remodeling my house and then... now I'm moving to Missouri - and my project and sailboat has to go!!! The port lights were crazed and foggy so I removed and rebuilt salon to have 3 large port and 3 large starboard Hood stainless port holes with screens. The structure is all done, but need finish coat fiberglass and bed port holes. Also replaced all port holes with Hood stainless port holes with screens (thousands $$$ in ports). Hatch replaced and bedded - yes Hood stainless hatch!Islander 32 has a galley and head and can sleep 6. Has huge salon with 6' 4" headroom. Islander comes with many great additions most are completed, but others need finished or hooked up. I added a 110VAC circuit breaker panel that controls power from shore through a top notch Sola isolation transformer. When away from the dock, 2 inverters are installed to get 110VAC from 12VDC batteries. Batteries charged by an installed Charles 35 Amp HQ charger. Also has DC circuit panel and lights, fans, etc. Deck has 2 $expensive and beautiful stainless-red vent cowls, pneumatic horn and spotlight. Speaker on deck to make your intentions known! Force 10 propane, 3 burner and oven stove, Wilcox Crittenden Marine Toilet (the best).
There are no soft spots or deck leaks, chain plates do not leak (never have)
Sloop Islander MKII always ranked high on best sailboat lists
