This auction is for a: Vintage Vanguard International 420 (I-420) Sailboat with Trailer
I purchased this boat a few years ago for my boys to sail on, but quickly realized that it needed more than my young boys (pre-teen) to sail properly. It is rigged for a trapeze set-up and comes with a main, jib, and spinnaker. The centerboard (dagger board) needs to be replaced. It was a laminated plywood centerboard, but has DE-laminated. I have priced a new fiberglass replacement for around $500, or you could simply make one from marine plywood and coat with epoxy for much less. The boat comes with a new full cover (mast up) and travel cover for the mast.
This is a fast and fun boat and all of the sailing instructors, at my boy's camp loved it! Selling because we are down-sizing and need to simplify our lives. (More photos to come when outside weather permits sail photos)
It does come with a 1975 Shore Lanier trailer with spare tire. The trailer is serviceable and I recently pulled the boat over 100 miles without issue. I do have both a Virginia title for the trailer, and original "Statement of Origin" (from March 1973) on the boat. All paperwork has Bill of Sale(s) reflecting me as the owner. All paperwork would be signed-over to the purchaser at pickup.

All items are sold "AS-IS". The boat and trailer can to be picked-up can and paid for with cash. Pickup must be within 10 days unless approved by me in writing before purchase, but payment (in-full) must be received within 7 days. A deposit of $500, as specified in the listing is required within 24 hours of the auction end. All items are sold without warranty and "As-Is" but I do my best to undersell items and price properly. Items not paid for within 7 days may be relisted without further notification to the Buyer.
