Vintage Surfboard Engine

Description

I have had this engine for 25+ years. In the 1960's, Donald Tyrack of Albuquerque was issued United States Patent 3,340,845 MOTORIZED WATER BOARD. Just a few were completed and this is one of the engines. It appears to be made of aluminum and although I have never attempted to start it, it does turn and has carburetor. I see no manufacture info but have been told it is a McCulloch. Don is gone now but British Car Enthusiasts may remember his Albuquerque auto repair shop, Taos Garage. Look at the photos.
