1976 Hondo V-Drive Drag Boat

Description

I picked A complete Hondo T-Deck up as a project but I have come to realize I do not have the budget to get this thing up and running. It is a 1976 Hondo Drag boat built in Californiapaired with a Ford 460 engine with a Holly double pumper four-barrel, Bassett headers, dual stainless gas tanks, and Nicson timing cover with camshaft driven water pump. The motor has water from sitting outside in the rain for a few years. The propeller spins freely and the Casle v-drive gearbox looks to be in good shape. The cavitation plate is in good shape and functions as it should. The hull and stringers are solid with no evidence of rot or past repairs. The paint is worn down to the metal flake and used to be a gold color which it still is underneath. The interior is there just needs to be redone. The wheels and tires pictured on the trailer do not come with, the chrome wheels in the separate picture go with and have brand new tires. The trailer comes with and while is a little rusty in spots, the axels are in good shape and it pulls well. I got the tail lights working and new safety chains. No title for either, I will give a bill of sale Willing to transport up to 500 miles away from Memphis, TN for $1.25/mile.
