1988 Cooper Prowler

Up for sale is my 1988 Cooper Prowler, it was last out on the water in 2016 in the Delta of the San Francisco Bay and around the Pacific Shoreline. She handles very smoothly and is perfect for day fishing or overnights if you're so inclined. She has been sitting for the last 2 years in the boat storage as i had intended on going through her and putting new seats up top and sanding and re staining all the wood down below as well as overhauling her Merc 350 and out drive. She has a free and clear title in California and her registration is paid through 2019. She will come with the double axle trailer pictured which is in good condition.
. When I went to get started with the engine tune up I was unable to get the engine to crank over, I am not a mechanic by any means other than to say I am mechanically handy and can do stuff like turn a wrench and change fluids. What I do know is the engine cranked over just fine before being stored. IF you know what you're doing this can be an easy fix or something more complicated i have no idea. I know that I have a baby on the way and I need to limit my expenses which means 125$ a month of boat storage fees need to go away.
As stated before the seats and cushions/vinyl will need repair or replacement. When I priced it out new cushions, vinyl, and seats were about 450$. As for the wood downstairs its in fair 5/10 shape I was going to sand and re stain it because as I said before it was going to be a summer project to get ready for the next fishing season.

Because I have a big truck and a flexible schedule I will offer delivery to anywhere in the continental US @ 75 cents per mile. Making this simple the fee will be calculated using the storage facility address 4185 Santa Rosa Ave, Santa Rosa Ca 95407 to the address the winning bidder provides if he/she wants it delivered. This way you will know exactly how much it will cost up front and I can assure you that I am far cheaper then any shipping company.
IF YOU ELECT TO PICK UP THE BOAT YOURSELF, please know you will have 7 days from the close of the auction to make final payment and arrange pick up time with me. I am a pretty flexible guy so the storage fees are paid until the end of the month of June. If you are unable to pick up before that you will need to pay any additional storage fees, the office staff are very friendly but it will be up to them if they pro-rate usage or not.


**Just FYI**I did not put a reserve on this auction, however I did place the starting bid at the minimum amount I would ever sell it and the trailer for.These boats list for about 10-12K in fair to good condition not to mention that it comes with the tandem axle trailer. Sooooo if you are a boat guy or gal and know what your doing this is probably a heck of a deal for you. If your like me and need to limit expenses, don't have room to store it, or with a new baby time to fix it up then this is not the boat for you so please don't bid. I believe in being honest and fair, this boat is for the person who has the time, space, and better know how then me.
