Up for Sale, a 1980 Palmer Johnson 47 foot aluminum racing sloop designed by Ed Dubois. The boat went through Hurricane Harvey and survived with no structural damage. Yes the boat is a bit rough, but it is all there and intact. There will be some assembly required. The deck hardware topside and inside was stripped for paint years ago, and never got finished. so the interior headliner is also disassembled. Some of the inventory that was not onboard during the storm did get submerged in salt water in off site storage, The current condition and specs of the vessel are listed below as best as I can recall. and can be verified by survey If you are looking for a battleship strong aluminum racer, this might be for you.The vessel underwent a mini refit in 1997, and a major refit in 1999.

vessel general condition is rough and needs attention
Currently the engine runs, but the water lift muffler has rusted out, and the engine electrical system has been bypassed as all the batteries were removed with the interior. As stated the deck hardware and interior has been stripped, with all the parts stored below. The cloth headliner has been lost, but all the battens and teak trim are present. There are 4 stainless stanchions missing. may or may not be located
The storm damage was limited to.One of the big fwd hatches is badly cracked, and one of the little hatches has a broken hinge. . The installed running rigging has been severely frayed by the storm, one running backstay was broken in the storm. AGAIN there is no structural or impact damage from the storm.
