1914 Colin Archer North Sea Gaff-Rigged Pilot Cutter
1914 Colin Archer North Sea
Description
The "Mary Ann" needs a hobbyist's touch! The "Mary Ann" is a Colin Archer wooden sailboat, built in 1914. Her double ended shape and wide beam makes her extremely stable in rough seas. The boat is 40' with bowsprit, 32' at the waterline, and has a 12'6"beam. Her draft is 4'6".
Her hull has been restored. The ribs and planking have been repaired or replaced, and she's been refastened with stainless screws, and new Oakum and cotton caulking. However, the engine needs repair and she needs deck-work and a new interior.
