40ft Yacht - Cheoy Lee Ketch

This Yacht is not in the USA it is in GRENADA, Windward Islands, Caribbean.

1976 Cheoy Lee Midshipman 40’

A solidly built ketch with a great reputation from this well known blue water yacht boatyard.

Only reason for selling is that the current owner does not have the time to give her the love that she deserves!

This yacht would be bought as a ‘semi-project’ boat. The boat is ready to live on board as it is (the owner has lived on board for the past 8months) but does require plenty of work (mainly cosmetic).

The major jobs :

• Some of the interior woodwork has damage and will need replacing / covering
• Deck needs sanding and painting (or equivalent) (previous owner removed the old teak decks)
• Windlass needs changing
• Triatic needs changing

There are plenty of other smaller jobs as there is on any other older yacht!!!!

Some noteable equipment:

• Mastervolt 2000w inverter/charger
• Full set of sails including storm jib, hanked on jib, spare mizzen, brand new code 0 (used 3 times!)
• Plenty of tools
• New battery bank
• 90hp (!) Ford Lehman engine
• New forestay
