1994 Homemade Yanmar 2 Cyl Diesel
1994 Homemade
Description
This beautiful boat was designed by Nelson Zimmer and was over 3 years in building. She is 22 feet in length overall with a 7 foot beam. The boat is strip planked over stressed oak frames with a laminated keel. The hull is sheathed in 6 oz. fiberglass cloth. She is powered by a 2 cylinder Yanmar diesel engine. This boat was initially launched in 1995 and was previously used in the Chesapeake and Raystown Lake. She has been in storage for 3 years and is being sold as is. This boat is simply beautiful and if you are into vintage boats, this is the one you have been waiting for! There is deck seating. There are 2 single cushion removable seats on the sides of the deck and there are also two wooden benches. There is no head on the boat. The previous owner utilized a portable toilet when on overnight trips. According to the Trailer plate, the GVWR is 5454lbs and the maximum load is 4100lbs. The cabin is pretty small and has the engine compartment in the middle of it. There are plywood benches on each side of the cabin that can be made into small bunks. I also found the bulb on the "sea water filter" is broken and would need to be replaced. Due to the age of the boat, it may require replacing the entire filter. Thanks for viewing!
