1974 AQUADYNE SAILBIRD. FOLDING TRIMARAN. Classic boat trade?
1974 Aquadyne Sailbird
Description
Aquadyne,Folding Trimaran. Built in Largo Florida. Number 256 of 700. This one is in in great condition. The topside does have some chips and very minor cracking. But only on the edges around the cockpit area and two areas in the cockpit. All shown in photos. The gel coat on all three hulls will show like new with some 1000 grit compound and a "skilled buffer". Swing keel and rudder are aluminum and in great shape. Note: One screw is missing on the rudder. As well as the pin for attaching the rudder to the boat and one section of the handle that you would hold in your hand. See photos!
Was used on a lake near Temple Texas throughout the eighties. Has been in storage ever since and has no history of ever being registered.
40 Lb. Minn Kota trolling motor and 2HP Evinrude included. Both need work!
The (tilting) trailer is a 1977 Dilly. New axle and leaf springs. New rollers and brackets. New bunks. New hitch and chains. New LED lights. New paint on frame. Basically a new trailer that tows fine and dandy!
This one will need two new trampolines and there is no jib sail. The main sail is crisp and in good shape with some stains that may clean. Size is about 21 feet by 9 feet. Sail boot included. Mast, boom and all rigging is in good shape. Nicely kept for 45 years.
Boat and trailer being sold with Bill of Sale only.
Will deliver up to 100 miles for free.
Might consider interesting boat trade...Wood, Aluminum or Fiberglass. Old is good. Projects OK.
