2001 Yamaha 115TLRZ 2-Stroke (~425 hours)
2004 Venture (can fit up to 20’ boat). Very sturdy.
Purchased from family friend July 2023. Boat spent its life in Charleston, SC until I shipped up to Ocean City in August 2023. Features include transom jump seats, raw water washdown, live well, GPS/depth/fish finder, cooler seat, swim platform, dual batteries w/ switch. Very sturdy hull. In good condition overall for its age. Have a baby on the way so did lots of work in preparation but decided use will be too limited. Great center console and large for its class. List of major items done to date:
New bimini canvas, upholstry, windshield, and Garmin GPSmap 541s when previous owner purchased in November 2012
New Trim/Tilt assembly – August 2022 (previous owner had done by Hanckel Marine in Charleston)
Batteries – one in August 2023 and the other May 2025
Main helm cushions (backrest and seat bottom) and lower unit fluid change – January 2024
Bottom paint, compound/buff/wax the hull, new bilge pump & bilge pump wiring, and thru hull scuppers – Bob’s Marine July 2024
Fuel tank and all fuel lines replaced with 27-gallon Moeller built in polyurethane tank – Jim’s Marine April 2025 (Old tank had a leak. Extremely common issue. Was using external tank for couple of seasons. New tank should last a lifetime).
All thru hulls (stainless steel), fittings, pumps, and hoses below deck replaced – Jim’s Marine April 2025
Engine Tune Up – Island Watersports (in progress) including new plugs and carb rebuild.
2004 Venture Trailer. Purchase October 2023. New tires, wheel, springs, and lights in the last few years with all work done by Racetrack Martine in Berlin, MD.
