I bought this boat a year and a half ago and used it three times. It had spent its whole life in Austin TX. I put over $ 3000 in the trailer to haul it back to FLorida, new brake actuator and 4 new Goodyear Marathon tires. I used it three times before putting it into storage last Summer ( too hot). Went to use it last fall, Starboard motor wasn't starting, looked like it needed a new starter. Got it to mechanic, water intake has failed and salt has gotten to the motor, so it will need to be rebuilt. The port side motor started right up. The boat will also need new batteries. Necause the batteries are dead, I can not open the giant hatch on the sundeck. It has an electric motor on a hydraulic arm and needs batteries to function. Everyone is asking for pics of motor compartment, but I can not get it open right now.
THe boat is owned by y business and it is doing poorly. Iam just not in a position to put money into it right now to fix it and need to get what I can for this classic boat. It was # 8 from that year, no one ordered them with the dual big blocks due to the original sticker price. If you are good with doing this kind of work, you can have a rare boat and a low, low price. It is in excellent original shape, has a spare set of props, cover, original carpet, and over 100 gallons of boat gas in it ! You are basically buying a nice trailer and getting the boat for free, at the prices it will go for.
