1982 255 Sea Ray Amberjack - Port Engine needs work

Twin V-8 enginesStarboard: 305 with estimated 735 hours ( 345 of freshwater use at purchase + 390 salt water use on long island ).Port: 350 with 390 hours - This engine needs attention. Runs rough and oil gets milky when cruising. it is assumed it needs a head gasket replacement.
The exhaust manifolds and risers of that engine were inpespected and found to be leak free.
I Don't have the mechanical means and equipment to perform the work myself.But for someone who does, this boat has the restoration potentials to become a valued 6 figures beauty.This boat will make many head turns ( as it has for us ) and will get you many compliments on the water.

Very solid hull. They don't make them like they used .Boat has plenty of storage and a spaceous engine compartment with easy access to engines for maintenance. Very clean and comfortable ride.Never been fished on, except for some occasional bunker snagging at mooring.

outdrives were serviced for this season which included new impeller and gear lube.
Also have a pair of spare aluminum props on hand.Also have a spare outdrive that came out of a 165HP straight 6 cylinder, with new seals.
