Have spent many hours in this boat surrounded by dolphins and whales. Moved to Arkansas in 2012 and brought the boat with me. Did not use it much and then needed repairs but cannot find a qualified marine tech that understands and can work on.
Had the props and shafts replaced in several years ago but the marine repair did not finish and said I had to get the boat off of their lake as they were dropping the water level. Then had a local marine tech work to finish it up. Got both engines running but retired before finishing.
In its current condition:
- Engines were both rebuilt in approximately 2010 when in Ventura, California- Transmission changes gears- Need batteries. Charger is doubtful but have one to replace it.- Small break on the back landing (see photos) thanks to the mechanic- Starboard fuel tank does not register, but may not be connected after the last work.- Other items may need addressing, but these I know for sure.
The motors will not come up to speed when opening up. They do come up without a load. I had this problem when they rebuilt the engines and was just shaft alignment. I doubt that was ever done since they were replaced. This may or may not be the main issue, but cannot verify.
The inside is in fair condition.
There is no trailer. Moving is the responsibility of the buyer. It is moored on Lake Dardanelle.
