1994 Wellcraft Nova 23 496SC Fresh Water Aluminum Trailer Fast Powerboat IL

Up for sale is a rare 1994 Wellcraft Nova Spyder. The newer ones are hard to find. This boat is in really good condition. We have always stored this boat indoors, climate controlled. We have owned this boat for 8 years and just don't have the time as we used to, There is no rot, never has been. Boat has same interior and upholstery and carpet as shown. There is some minor wear as expected. Boat had a 6 disc CD changer, 2 12" subs, and amps.
The boat has a 496 mercury engine that rebuilt, at that time installed the weiand 177 supercharger. This blower is setup with the 10 rib belt/pulleys, no belt slip. The cylinder heads were freshened, larger capacity oil pan. Holley dominator carburetor. Holley electric fuel pump. The boat is tuned and turn key. Boat will make 7 lbs of boost. It runs on 93 octane. This boat RUNS! Recent service; it had spark plugs, new impeller, and an oil change. I would not hesitate to jump in and cruise across the lake for lunch. Everything was done on this boat with an open check book. The engine itself has $9,000 in it. The engine have Powertorque exhaust manifolds with stainless risers. I cant stress, TURN KEY. I cant say how many times we have hopped in to go to the beach, went out and burned some gas, pulled kids tubing with it. The engine only has 38.5 hours on it.
Mercruiser Bravo 1 outdrive. Gear lube was serviced 2 seasons (6 hours ago). I have a 4 blade 29p Merc stainless prop on there. I spent the time dialing in the boat with props and this was the best. It will spin a 30p but I wanted nice planing and cruising rpm and run the 29p. The boat is on a dual axle Quickload aluminum trailer. The trailer has a 4 flat light plug and hydraulic brakes. Trailer has newer tires.
Interior: I did swap a white leather steering wheel into the boat, a pop up LED retractable pole light, and I have an autometer fuel pressure gauge on the dash that matches the factory faria gauges. white back black rim. Boat has 3 batteries, it does have a stereo system. Cabin is in nice condition the whole floor is a bed. Cabin door has a small crack in the top half but is totally functional.
I can personally say this boat does very well with anything you throw at it. Little water, big water, kids, cruising, tubing, skiing. running with friends. The Nova will handle all of it. The boat will hit 79 mph if you like speed. Boat easily walks on plane and cruises at 30mph to 50mph. Wellcraft built a very nice deep Vee hull that will cut through lake waters. This boat will be missed, it has been too easy for us to simply start our pontoon and go out with what little weekend we have. I will entertain trades as we are into a lot more hobbies now.
