Description

Handsome Northeaster Dory is great for fishing, rowing and sailing. Shown at the prestigious Wooden Boat Show in Mystic CT! Includes custom trailer, mast and boom, main sail and jib, rudder, daggerboard, tiller, two sets of oars (one leathered), touch-up paint and a pulley hoist system to easily store the boat on the ceiling of your garage--all in excellent condition! Lapstrake wood construction with fiberglass bottom over wood. Hull planking is 6mm okoume; the bottom is 9mm, fiberglassed on both sides and up onto the side planking. The hull is light--only about 100 pounds--and very strong. And with 800 pounds of displacement, this dory offers real versatility. It's small enough to be rowed by one person, but large enough for tandem rowing with two adults. Lightly used and in excellent condition. Great beginning sail boat for youth.
