NO RESERVE Baja 22' Twilight Cruiser 454 - low hours - Donzi Fountain Scarab
1996 Baja TWILIGHT CRUISER CUDDY CABIN
Description
NO RESERVE - This boat has modern lines, lots of power... we have moved out of state and can't use it. Stored on its trailer in Tacoma WA. Approx 390 hours on the motor and is assumed to be original, not rebuilt. The motor is not consuming oil. We love this boat and have enjoyed it but not nearly as often as we'd like.
454 power and nearly 60mph on the water - this thing gets up and goes! Adjustable hydraulic trim on the outdrive. Lockable-door Cuddy cabin with very decent interior upholstery, porta-potty under the cushions used 2x in 4 years - like new. Electrically actuated engine hatch and electrical exhaust bypass solenoids allow the boat to roar (or run silent). Outdrive trim, hydraulic steering, outdrive oil just changed less than 8 hours run time and no water or metal present in the change. Engine oil 26 hours ago run time. Lights work - interior, saloon, bow and stern. LED drain plug new and needs connecting to electrical, as does some white led's mounted to the hatch if you are interested in lighting up the engine bay (lights already placed). I have never launched the trailer in salt water but it is a King galvanized trailer with dual axles and stainless steel brakes, from what I understand. It is the nicest trailer I have owned for a boat and loads the boat fine every time.
New mp3/bluetooth stereo. Boat needs a new power amp and speakers. Wet bar sink drains properly but not currently fed with water. (could use new water feed, drains to the port side). Upholstery stitching is coming apart on the rear seat and on the passenger and driver seats. We had a full new upholstery quote for the boat at $1500 but it is usable and enjoyable as-is... just not perfect upholstery. Also, the heater core has been bypassed and that is the way it was when I bought the boat 4 years ago.
Boat comes with dual batteries, automatic battery tender, several life vests and a throwable, large bumpers, bungee elastic ties, and a wooden oar but you won't be needing it - this boat is very dependable.
What also is known to be wrong: the upholstery is starting to show its age and re-sewn, temporary fix, or re-upholstered (local quote $1,500 for all new upholstery). Boat needs a snap cover or storage cover. The boat's trailer can be tricky to back up an incline without messing with a lever in the surge brake - one needs to fiddle with it more than one should when you back up the trailer but I always manage it to work.
The included trailer is a King galvanized dual axle tandem trailer with stainless steel disc brakes + surge brake function - stops my F150 very well. This package is priced to sell! Deposit due immediately and non-refundable unless you can demonstrate that my auction was not accurately described and is dramatically misrepresented.
