1994 BAYLINER 2052 LS CAPRI - Project needs BLOCK
1994 Bayliner 2052 LS CAPRI
Description
Our loss is your gain. We picked this boat up as a project boat getting the engine in pieces including a broken crankshaft.
Engine is a GM 4.3L V6 with 4bbl carburator and is complete. Buy a running 4.3L GM engine (boat, truck, SUV) and you can swap over all the marine bolt-ons. The stern drive and prop are working fine.
We rebuilt the engine, it run but the crankcase slowly fills with water.
We've done a bunch of work on the trailer upgrading the coupler and new brake line so the trailer has working brakes to tow her home. We replaced a bunch of the lights so the trailer lights work. We started taking off the poorly applied (with brush) boat paint down to the original gel coat. One or two more applications of stripper and a pressure washer should get the rest of it off.
The interior is really nice with excellent vinyl on the seats and good condition on the interior in the cuddy. You won't need to do any seat work except to clean it up. We left a few finger prints on there because there will be more when the engine gets replaced. The original engine cover pad is stowed in the bow. The overhead canvas is faded but otherwise good condition. There are no side panels to the canvas but the original glass is all fine - what you see is what you get with the canvas and frame. Bow access is good. Hull seems to be in solid shape. Lots of room to store friends, family, and toys.
