Up for auction is our 2004 Boston Whaler 180 Dauntless powered by a 2004 135 Hp Mercury, riding on a recently rebuilt 2004 Performance Aluminum trailer. All in all she's in good condition for her age with some minor cosmetic wear and tear, but nothing major. The hull is solid and clean, no accidents or issues. Solid deck and transom, good tank, center console, bimini top, etc. Some Boston Whaler stress marks around tank access hatch behind center console (pictured). Purely cosmetic, no mushiness. Rear scupper is cracked, will need to be replaced as well. Nice folding rear bench seat, no forward cooler or leaning post cushion. The gauges do shoe some crazing and the displays are faded so it is difficult to read the diagnostic values. They could likely stand to be replaced. They run a couple hundred dollars on Ebay. It appears that the engine hours show 119. The engine fires right up and runs strong. Good compression, water pump, lower unit, trim/tilt, etc. The cowling has some stress cracks in the top portion, could likely be repaired, or rankly replaced for a few hundred dollars again. We rebuilt the trailer last year with new hubs and wheels/tires. She's ready for any distance trip. Just trying to be thorough with condition of the boat, all these issues are minor and could likely be repaired en total for under $1000.00.
