This is a 1939 17' Chris Craft Deluxe runabout. It has a rebuilt straight six cylinder Chris Craft 95 hp engine model K. The electrical system has been upgraded from a 6 volt system to a 12 volt.
This boat runs great! I used it for the last summer season on Lake George and it was stored in a covered dock and maintained by wooden boat specialists. It has been stored for the winter in indoor cold storage (as is recommended).
For the wooden boat lover, this is a great runabout.
The boat trailer is included in the sale and is a Shoreland’r that was customized for this boat. I have the original manual for the trailer. It is a 2001, Vehicle Identification Number 1MDAX8P1X1A154503.
I have the original flag, it is not shown in the images on land, but can be seen in the photo of it on lake george last year. The photos by the white barn were taken last year before it went into storage.
It has a brand new navy cover, as shown.
The boat needs to be picked up at Smith Boys boat storage in North Tonawanda, New York (near Buffalo, New York), which is where it is being stored.
