Here's the rest of the story
Ipurchased this boat a couple of years back from the original owner. The boat has always lived in Florida, it never sat in the water. The exterior of the boat is in extremely excellent condition. I just finished a complete buff and wax and it looks showroom. I did some improvements to the boatonly due to its age. I built all new storage doors and front panels for under the dash. This is all new 3/4" marine grade plywood which was soaked in teak oil prior to install. All the cabinets are now water tight. All the electrics are working correctly.
The original owner used the sameMercury Marine Master mechanic for all service and maintenancerequirements. The motor has approx 490 hours, starts easy, idles well and runs out extremely strong. I have the original owners manual, servicereceiptsfor work performed over the years.
This GW is in overall excellent condition and should perform that way for the next owner. It has never seen abuse. The wife and I have decided to size down to a smaller inshore / lake type boat and that's the story.
Thanks for looking!
