1973 Uniflite, 27' This is a VERY nice 27' Uniflite with lots of extras, See list below. My plan was to eventually repower with a couple of small diesels but never got around to it. Instead I turned it into a fishing boat and fished it locallyfor a couple of years. this boat spent the first 35 years on lake powell in a covered boat house! Engines Twin fresh water cooled counter rotating 318 Chryslers (gas) with Borg Warner Velvet Drive Transmissions .The exhaust system is thru transom & has manufacturer installed mufflers. I also have original Uniflite owner’s manual and other paperwork along with a stack of receipts for accessories, installations and accessories I have installed. Both engines have brand new raw water pumps (complete assemblies) and thermostats, new electric fuel pumps and fuel filters, new alternators, new ignition coils and electronic ignition conversion (no points) new spark plugs. Starter solenoids/relays are also new. New exhaust manifolds, risers and elbows along with several hoses. Oil and filters just changed. Both carburetors have been overhauled. Port motor was replaced prior to my purchasing the boat and has about 200 hours on it. Starboard motor is original with the new items mentioned above. Starboard motor has (1) cylinder that has low compression but seems to run good. The boat will do about 25 MPH comfortably with both motors @ 3500 RPM and 2 persons aboard with around 50 gallons of fuel in tanks but I have had it up to 31 MPH @ 4500 RPM but don’t like to run it up there, too costly on fuel. General Information This Uniflite was built in 1973 so it is “pre blister”the hull is solid with no blisters or repairs and has had the bottom cleaned and anodes replaced regularly. Cockpit has a full custom canvas enclosure.I also have the original Uniflite owner’s manual,service manual forenginesand other paperwork along with a stack of receipts, over $6,500.00 worthfor parts, accessories, upgrades & installations, not including the radar, rocket launcher rod holders, anchor pulpit, Outrigger mounts,stereo & TV, bait tankand several other items that cost over 2Kor labor asall work was performed by myself, I ama retired marine tecnician for 35 years in the marine business as a certified master mechanic and installer so all work, installs and modificationswere done correctly using only the best materials and components.
