Description

The 60 HP ETEC Evinrude outboard motor has just been serviced with just 220 hrs of run time. Main Sail, Genoa and asymmetrical Spinnaker make this a versatile and easy to sail with a neat Center Board and Water Keel. The interior has leather seat cushions and sleeps 6; galley, head, VHF Radio, new Marine Battery & charger; bait tank, swim ladder, 2 anchors& 12v outlet.

The advantages of this trailerable water- keeled motor/sail boat aremany: you cancruise the channel Islands and sail in open water and launch the boat at any public boat ramp in inland lakes or at the Colorado River. This boat will carry 6 to Catalina in an hour with the motor and tack 15 degrees into the wind and get you there in 4 hours on most days by sail. You can lift the center board and pull the boat onto the beach at The River or Mission Bay! You can pull a water skier or sail to San Diego from San Pedro. The boat and trailerare very light and easily pulled by my Ford Escape SUV.

The Macgregor 26M is a very safe and easily handled. The boat will not capsize with the water keel and the foam lining between the double fiberglass hull will not allow the boat to sink--even if filled with water! The 26' cabin and deck are roomy enough to accommodate 6, yet one person can launch/sail.
