The Clipper Mk 21 is designed for safe family sport on all the waters of the U.S. - Lakes, reservoirs, bays, rivers, oceans. Her superb sailing characteristics make her easy to handle under all conditions. Her keel ballasting and unique hull design make her exceptionally stiff for comfortable “upright” sailing.Her hand-layup fiberglass construction gives her great hull strength, and her built-in flotation makes her unsinkable. She’s so unsinkable, in fact, that she’ll actually continue sailing even with her interior full of water.
Because her keel retracts fully inside the hull, the Clipper Mk 21 will float in only 6 1/2inches of water. It allows her to sit low on her tailer and makes launching easy, even in shallow water. Further, the clean, unobstructed bottom helps her to plane like a powerboat when driven by an outboard motor.
A low-profile trailer has been especially designed for the Clipper Mk 21 to allow easy trailing and simple boarding and launching.
The Clipper Mk 21 sleeps four on full 6’6” berths, but also has room for two more in the spacious cockpit.
