SAILBOAT RARE! 1975 SUNBURST Formex Sun Fun Products 11'

You are bidding on this RARE 1975 SUNBURST sailboat.
This boat is part of the Family of "Sun Fun Products" made by Formex Corporation of Elkhart, Indiana in 1975. Measuring 11' long x 3' wide, it is molded from expanded polystyrene and bonded with a tough plastic finish. The Sunburst has a roomy, self-bailing, sit-in cockpit. It offers a 55 square foot nylon sail on an 8 foot aluminum mast with a 10 1/2' aluminum boom and yardarm. Weighing only 85 pounds, it is easy to transport.
As is shown in the pictures, I am also including a small life vest, the original owners brochure and the assembly/sailing instructions that came with the boat.
I purchased this boat in 1975 from a store called KenT Sailboats in Boardman, Ohio. The boat was only sailed once, during which time one of the aluminum poles (boom or yardarm, I'm not sure), bent in half after getting stuck in the mud. I've been assured that it can be easily sleeved. Other than this, the boat is in very good condition and would be great for the kids or someone just learning how to sail.
Through all my searches and inquiries over the past several years, I have not been able to find another one like it.
