Cape Dory 25 with Trailer

Description

There's plenty of yacht packed into Sea Bean, this Cape Dory 25; inside and out you can see the quality and attention to detail that makes Cape Dory boats stand apart from the others. She is a masthead sloop rigged, four berth cruiser with enclosed head (porta-a-potty), hanging storage, sink and ice box. Electrical system includes cabin and navigation lights, The Cape Dory 25 features great woods and many bronze fittings. She offers a degree of stability hardly ever found in twenty-five footers. There is no substitute for quality, easy sailing, the easy motion and ease of steering she and other Cape Dorys offer. Boat is tiller steered.
Boat is clean and ready to go. Nice woodwork throughout, good running rigging, good standing rigging, bottom is in good condition freshly painted (July 2018) with an ablative blue. Equipped with a 6 hp 2 stroke Evinrude outboard mounted in compartment/well, recently serviced and impeller replaced.

Boat has a whale hand pump plus float switch electric bailer; bilge stays very dry. Hull/topsides compounded and waxed, present smooth, shinny and in very nice condition.

Includes main and roller furling jib. Track on roller furler recently replaced at Falmouth Marine. Lifelines recently replaced with ¼ inch white covered stainless, New Bedford Shipyard.

Trailer was custom built up on a Shoreline heavy duty two axle trailer, very good Goodyear Marathon tires approx 1000 miles on them. Trailer support post height easily adjusted allows for proper set and painting under supports. Boat tows nicely and stores nicely on trailer. Winter cover included. Note: stantions are removed for winter storage and optionally for transport, base is attached to deck-stantions are removable and set in place with one set screw each into heavy duty base. This allows for easy winter storage without stantions poking through cover. Owner will set stations in place upon request.

Bulkhead mounted Danforth compass, includes PFD’s, lines, anchor with rode, VHF radio with mast-top antenna, various safety gear, assortment of dock lines and extra lines, marine deep cell battery and various gear used with boat.....add some sunscreen and ice and you’ll be good to go sailing!
