1979 Sea Ray 26' SRV 260 Weekender Cabin Cruiser Power Boat with tandem trailer
Nice 26' Sea Ray cabin cruiser, 260 hp mercruiser with 200 hours since complete engine overhaul, used last Fall and ran fine, new axles and complete new stainless steel disc brake system installed. Pictures are part of the description.
Includes: Swim deck on rear, bow platform on front, search light, Beds, table and cabin lights, bathroom with sink and chemical toilet, kitchen sink, refrigerator (not used recently)fresh water system and 20 gal. storage tank, 3 bilge pumps, 2 downriggers (not used recently) Canvas top, complete with sides and back, legal for about 10 people, 10 Life preserves, flairs, fire extinguisher, ropes for docking.
Contrail tandem axle trailer with new axles and stainless steel disc brake system installed, hand winch, easy loading, heavy duty jack, tows very nice.
Only things that need to be done before use is the trailer should have 3 new tires. I replaced one a year ago. Every year I replace the water pump in the out drive before I head out and should be done before use. Starts and runs great. I started it 2 weeks ago and everything seemed fine. Started easy and idles nice. I have a Clymer shop manual that goes with the boat that helped me make some of the repairs myself. Several of the features on the boat I have not used recently and am not sure if they work such as the radio, down riggers and refrigerator. The land line electric hook up had worked but have not used it recently. If those things are important I can check them out for you. I do have an inverter hooked to the batteries when the engine is running so I could run a desktop computer for gps guidance and mapping.
Located in Salisbury MD, stored inside ever since I owned it (about 20 years), used on Chesapeake Bay for many fishing trips and overnight stays at Tangier Island Virginia.
You may email and ask any question you have or for pictures of something I missed. We have had a lot of fond memories with the boat and have slept on the boat many times at Tangier in a slip. Caught several 52" stripped bass during our November and December fishing trips. We used a computer with a gps guidance system which could go with the boat if desired. This is the boat to have on the Chesapeake since it takes the waves well and can be totally enclosed in rough weather.
We will miss the boat but I have retired and have a several other boats to use. We need to downsize now and simplify our lives. We live in Lebanon PA but our son lives in Salisbury MD and we store the boat in his shed.
