1996 Sea Ray 270 Sundancer - Twin Mercruiser 4.3's.

Description

1996 Sea Ray Sundancer 270DA. Twin 4.3 V6 Mercruisers with Alpha 1 outdrives. This has been a great family boat but we just have no time to use it with 2 kids in college.
Lowrance color chart plotter and color fish finder. Boat has a vberth and a mid cabin bed and sleeps 4 comfortably. Full head with shower and toilet. Cabin has A/C, hot water heater and fridge. I have replaced the 3 batteries and added a 3 bank battery charger in the last 2 years. The canvas top has been replaced and has new (never used) eisenglass for the front and sides. Life jackets and fenders are included.
We have not used the boat much in the last 2 years. The engines were both replaced within the last 6 years and have less than 120 hours on them. I purchased long block 4.3's with mild head work and updated cams. These changes along with the new Edelbrock 1409 carbs with electric choke are rated at approx 230HP each. New starters, alternators and gimble bearings. Runs well, quick to plane and cruises at about 26mph and tops at over 40. The upper unit on the port engine was replaced during the engine swaps with an SEI unit.
The trailer is 2007 Magic Tilt galvanized tandem axle with disc surge brakes and bunks. Overall in great shape. New Maxxis tires and LED lighting last spring.
The bad: The cockpit upholstery is torn in several places and needs to be recovered. The gelcoat needs a good buff and polish. The trim for the outdrives is working on the starboard engine but not for the port side. I have not had time to diagnose the issue - I can hear the relay clicking - could just be corrosion on the terminals. I definitely recommend having someone look the boat over prior to any use. Both engines run well and start right away. The swim platform needs a new coat of anti skid paint.
