Description

Semper Fi has 20 hours on a rebuilt short block starboard engine. Port engine is also rebuilt but has 100 hours. Everything else (A/C, generator, stereo, appliances, shower, yada yada yada.) are in good working order. She also has a two year old custom Bimini and the teak accents were recently refinished. Twin 350 hp Mercruiser gasoline engines will pass all but a gas pump. (Two- 125 gal tanks) Semper Fi is 36.5’ overall with a 12’ beam and weighs in around 12 tons empty. I have a survey commissioned prior to purchase in 2013, manual, repair and equipment installed receipts along with clear title. There isno trailer and you will be responsible for transport after purchase. There is an issue with the starboard aft and port amidships gelcoat. It “eeks” –not to be confused with LEAKS – water…about a gallon a week. Old age cracks were discovered when she was hauled out for bottom paint, zincs and an overheating issue. Overheating was mostly corrected for a mere $1,310.00 by my friendly local marina… and I have bids for the gelcoat repair and bottom paint which should be bead blasted down to the gelcoat, sealed then painted with a quality (5 year) paint. Zincs are cheap. She has – under my 4 year watch -- never been run aground or abused in any way. This is a clean, sturdy, Old School boat that needs periodic attention to detail so she should go to someone who knows boats. If you have never owned or worked on a large, heavy, old boat, Semper Fi is not for you. Semper Fi is moored at a private dock in Englewood, FL 34224. Dock fees are paid through 30 August 2017. This is a No-Reserve 7 day auction that will go to the highest bidder with cash due at title transfer via mutually agreed escrow or in person at the dock.
