1997 Wellcraft Scarab Sprint 19' V8 powered
1997 Wellcraft Scarab Sprint
Description
The boat is in very good overallcondition for it's age and there are only about 84 hours showingon the hourmeterand it was kept indoors by the previous owner. The original engine was a 4.3 V6 but swapped out with a350ci V8(I'm not sure how many hours areon the engine but probably not many)about 2 years ago and I'm guessingit's probably about330hp, but I can't confirm that. Thetop speed is around 55 mph with the originaljet drive that'son it. The enginelooks pretty new so I'm assuming it's a crate or a rebuiltengine. The boatsoriginal graphics(decals) were removed and replaced with the ones showing, and the seats were dyed black and red where the original colors(purple and green)were and are showing some seam separation on the front seats. The front seats havecovers that snap on the seat frameitself so replacing them should be pretty easy if you choose to do so. It has a pioneer stereo with a single cd player and a total of 4 speakers, all the gauges and accessories are in working order. The rubber trim molding was replaced in black from the originalgreen. Thegearshifter feels a little stiff, so the cable probablyneeds some lubrication. The trailer is the original galvanized steel one that came with the boat andthetires are in fair condition. It's a sweet looking boat that's in great shape, the original floors are solid and the carpeting's in nice condition.I haven't seen many of these for sale either, so it's probably somewhat rare especially with the transplantedV8 and being a jet.The boat title is clear and the trailer comes with a bill of sale only, andarebeing sold in as is condition. If you have any questions please ask and I'll answer them to the best of my ability. Thanks for looking!
