This listing is for my 2006 13 foot Boston Whaler 130 sport. I bought the hull down in Charleston about 4-5 years ago and had originally planned to redo the painting but never got around to it. As you can see there are some scratches and bad patch jobs from minor bumps that I have done (any brown spots or spots are from small bumps I have tried to redo). I thought I was using the right color every time but obviously not lol. The two ugliest things I did are the patch job in the front (highlighted in a picture) and the “fix” I tried to do on the delaminated part in the front (where it looks like a bunch of dots). I thought it wouldn’t look bad but it didn’t come out good. There has never been any water in the hull it strictly was delamination when we got it and we weighed it once we took the old motor off to verify this. Now that the ugly parts are out of the way, this boat is very new as I have changed literally everything on it to new parts in 2021. Once I put the motor on it I couldn’t think of spending the time painting it as I loved the boat and going out on it. The motor is a 2021 with 33 hours (may have a couple more if the listing lasts a while). The motor cost 7,500 in 2020 and I had to wait over a year to receive it! We take it out often but never go very far which is why it has low hours. The engine has never touched saltwater. Oil, gearcase oil, fuel filter/water separator has been changed every October/November. Thermostat, spark plugs, and water impeller changed last October. Motor and controls were mounted by boat sales of lake Wylie in 2021. Other work was done by myself and my dad who has always owned and worked on Yamahas. Trailer is a 2021 load rite 14F1000WT (roughly $1,000.00 in 2021). I do have the title and registration and paperwork. I did add a spare wheel tire as you can see. Replaced the steering in 2021 with a Dometic SeaStar SS13711 Steering Kit. Added smith bunk guides to the trailer as well as keel guards. Comes with 2 gas tanks (bought in 2021) that are 3 and 6 gallons. Added an se sport 400 hydro foil which helps it get on plane quick. Boat buckles are on the back to hold it down while trailering. There is a brocraft trolling motor mount on the back. I liked it being in the back out of the way but didn’t like how it was hard to control. That’s why I added the trolling motor in the front this year. It works great but I never got around to figuring out where to put a seat to be able to use the foot pedal (was thinking of putting one on the front of the boat but never got around to it). The trolling motor is a MotorGuide 940200090 X3 Freshwater Bow Mount Trolling Motor — Cable Steer, Foot-Control — 45-Inch Shaft, 55-Pound Peak Thrust. As shown in one of the videos, I have the wiring where you can quick connect it currently. One of the YouTube videos shows a portion of the wire where the red and black could potentially touch but I have fixed that (it was a quick thing I did to get out and test it). It was just all I had the day i was putting it in and wanted to test it out. The batteries have breakers and controls to turn them off as you can see in the videos. The trolling motor has a motorguide quick connect where you can take it off by just taking out the one pin. There is a ladder on the back. Tachometer is brand new as of the day the motor was out in. The Yamaha remote control assembly was also changed 2021. The propeller that is on there now is a 11 3/8 x12-G which gets up on plane quick. The other propeller provided is a 10 3/8x13-g which is slower to get on plane but can get the boat going a little quicker. Both batteries have Noco quick connects where you don’t have to take the tops off to charge them or jump the battery if needed. 4 different anchors provided, multiple ropes and doc lines, extra yamaha gas line, 2 boat fenders, removable cup holder, motor muffs for flushing, meguiars products (all pretty full), deck cleaner (about 1/3 left), marine compound (pretty full), Yamaha maintenance bottles (all pretty full), 2 full bottles of Yamaha engine oil, one full gearcase lube and one 1/3 full, 2 Yamaha oil drain gaskets, 2 Lowe unit seals, Yamaha fuel filter, oil filter remover tool, 2 boat erasers, 2 extra rod holders (2 on boat as well), extra battery holders, emergency rope to start, rubber rod holders, extra fuel pipe connectors, spark plugs, fuses, extra boat plugs, 2 sets of keys and emergency shut offs, boat tongue lock, 2 life jackets (one universal and one l/xl adult), marine Tex and epoxy, extra wire, noco genius 10. Two of the cushions are from specialty marine (the funny shaped ones) and two were from a custom guy on eBay. I’ve heard some bad reviews on specialty marine but these cushions have been great I don’t have any complaints on them. All lights work but the pole one is dim (it’s original). I’ve never gone out at night so never had a need for them.
The gps/fish finder is a hummingbird helix 5. Barely used at all, works great. It has a removable plate so you can quickly remove it. I have it connected to a small battery as shown in video as I was nervous about a dead battery but would probably be better hooked up to the same battery as the trolling motor. The main battery is an interstate battery and it is pretty old but has never let me down. The one hooked up to the trolling motor is a Mighty max ml100-12. Bimini top is in ok condition. One of the Bimini connectors has some paint cracks around it but no structural damage and hasn’t gotten worse since I’ve had the boat. Works perfectly but slightly older and has a few small rips that could be repaired. I do have a boat and motor cover you can have to keep dust and stuff off but they are dated and I would get new ones. I’m also going to be selling the arrow carport it is under so let me know if you happen to be interested and I can give you a deal on it.
I love this boat and have put a lot of time and money into it but my wife is pregnant and our financial situation has changed or else I would not be selling it. I hope someone can enjoy it as much as I have. Feel free to ask any questions or request anymore pictures. If you’re in the area we can setup a time for you to see it or go for a ride. Works amazing and has always started immediately and ran great. Also the registration shows 2023 in the pictures and I didn’t even notice I hadn’t put the new ones on until I was taking the pictures. Tried to find them but couldn’t so ordered new ones which will be here this week (have proof of this). But everything is in my name the registration of the boat (no title as it is under 14 ft and nc doesn’t require anything under 14 feet be titled), and the trailer. If you are outside of nc let me know so we can figure out what’s needed.
Please see YouTube for a bunch of videos I made on it. First link is the main page link and the rest are all individual links. I can make additional videos if there is anything else you would like to see more of.
