1947 Chris Craft Runabout

I am selling my beautiful 1947 Chris Craft. The boat comes with a trailer but the trailer was never titled, it will be sold on a bill of sale. The boat has a clear title and will transfer with title to the new owner.

I just had the boat fully serviced and completely checked by the Marina I use. The boat is currently on the lake in Indiana. The boat is solid and mechanically sound. The prior owner did a complete overhaul 4 years ago (per the prior owner) and replaced wood near the Chine. The prior owner also re calked and painted the bottom 2 years ago. The boat swells nicely. It has been converted to a 12 volt system but the original generator is still on the boat if you wanted to take it back to the original 6 volt system.

I am selling the boat for two reasons, first, I have a freshman in college, and the school seems to be very proud of their tuition! second, I don't have dock space to keep the boat in the water as it needs. I do put water in the bottom when I pull it from the lake, but it isn't the same as keeping it in the water.

Payment for the boat upon completion of the auction will be via cash or wire transfer only. Buyer is responsible to pick up the boat at the marina in northern Indiana. (Lake Tippicanoe) The boat will be on the trailer and ready for transport.
