1949 17 ft Chris Craft Deluxe Runabout W/ Trailer Barn Garage Find NO RESERVE
1949 Chris Craft Runabout
Description
You are looking at a 1949 Chris Craft 17ft Runabout Deluxe with trailer. I recently found this Chris Craft in a personal collection. I have a few manuals and a copy of the original build sheet to go with it. The previous owner was in the process of restoringthe motor and interior. It was never completed and the motor was lightly put back in to make moving everything easier. So it is being listed as a non running project. The last thing I was told was done to the boat by the previous owner was adding a new bottom, and testing it in the water, no soak fuel tank being cleaned and sealed, including the shaft and stuffing box. It does have a clear Florida title that matches the stamped hull number, see picture. There are extra parts, see pictures, and I do not have the stamped Chris Craft data plates. Boat comes with the trailer its sitting on. I was told bearings and tires were done two years ago which was the last time it was used up until today. I took it on a two hour trip today, but couldn't tell you if its suitablefor a longer trip. Buyer will need to bring their own straps for boat and trailer.I have provided 87 extra pictures at the bottom of this listing, so I am going to let them do the talking for me. But please ask all questions before bidding because I am happy to answer them. Please see my other auctions.
This is a NO RESERVE auction. No warranties expressed or implie, and a as is where is sale. Feel free to have the boat inspected if you like. As long as the boat is paid for in full within 7 days after the auction has ended, then she can sit here for up to two months, but would like it picked up as soon as possible. Please look at all of the pictures, and ask all questions before bidding as I will be happy to answer them. Thank you and happy bidding!
