About Hurricane Harvey Damage:
Exterior:SV Enterprise was damaged by Hurricane Harvey, boat has fiberglass damage. She has an opening on her starboard side, and some of the stainless railing was also damaged. She lost some of her exterior hardware such as her Bimini, dodger and sheet winch. Boat did NOT sink and did NOT take on saltwater. All of her standing rigging stayed strong and sustained no damage. She has a keelsteppedisomat mast whichalso stayedstrongwith nodamage.
Interior:Other than the opening she has on the starboard side she did not sustain damage to her interior from Hurricane Harvey. She has 4 new day/nigh solar vent fans which keep her interior quite dry and mold free.
Engine:The inboard Diesel engine was last ran the day before Hurricane Harvey, when she was moved from her slip to avoid mast collision with other sailboats. Engine ran strong at that time, engine has not been ran since then. Her engine was serviced, fluids were all changed. Her fuel system was completely cleaned, fuel tank was emptied and cleaned and all of her fuel was polished and treated. All new USCG approved fuel lines installed. Her exhaust elbow cracked after the hurricane, a new one has been built and just needs to be welded and installed.
