Extremely rare opportunityto own a 1938 Vic Franck 36 foot cabin cruiser. Only three documented owners since launched in 1938. We have all the USCG documents in hand. For international bidders, this is a great benefit too.
She was the Commodore’s Boat for the Queen City Yacht Club from 1947 to 1991. Currently in a covered, live aboard, transferable slip on Lake Union in Seattle. She comes with an extensive collection of plaques, awards, photos and documents covering her entire history.
The hull isin incredible condition.Port Orford cedar hull and teak cabin. a Chrysler 426 Wedge Golden Commando gas engine. Smooth as silk, Velvet drive 1:5:1 transmission. Some interior restoration started and has many parts re-chromed ( over $2,000 in plating)
This boat has been a familiar sight throughout its well loved history. The cabin layout is friendly and laid out very well and roomy. Hide-bed in main cabin. Forward Captains quarters with bunk and private head (toilet) Sleeps 6 ( more if you are friendly) .
Open galley layout and main head ( toilet) is port side from galley. You will not find another vessel in this condition at this price. You can assume a month to month rental of the slip, or move her to you location. We can recommend a capable and competent transport company.
The boat has been kept very near original and is highly desirable. Mostly paint and varnish to take this grand little yacht back to show condition. Engine has low compression, cranks over easily. Easy restoration. We have added a reasonable and low reserve. We only intend to list it once. There is NO survey.
