Life Aboard Systems High Capacity Water Maker - with highly energy efficient Clark Pump #1: Deep Freezer Water-Cooled Holding Plate System with Electric Pump Drive: Holding Plate Freezers are the best of the best type of freezer aboard a voyaging yatch - they are like batteries in that they store 'cold'. This type of freezer allows you to drive the compartment down to -39 degrees farenheight, and then coast through the next 24 hours without any power based on its holding capacity. Very efficient use of power: Run the pump once a day, for about an hour or more, and coast through the day with subzero temperatures! #2: Efficient DC Fridge: A second highly insulated 12v DC fridge 3rd Fridge with Freezer Splendide Combo Washing Machine with both Washer and Dryer Air Conditioning - three independent Airconditioning units installed, one for the forward section of the boat, including the galley and forecabin, one for the main cabin/pilot house, and one for the aft cabin ITR Hurricane II Combi Space and Domestic Water Heating System with multi-zone outputs distributed all across the boat. Maintain excellent climate control with even set temperature across the boat. The Hurricane II Combi Heater is a 40,000 BTU diesel heater and also provides hot water on demand. Never run out of hot water while taking a shower, even if your shower lasts hours or months!!! The Hurricane Combi Heater is connected both to the diesel tank and to electricity and can use either or both power sources. With the diesel heater, it heats faster than you can use the water, so you are guaranteed to have hot water all day long, no matter how many showers. 27" LCD Digital TV in main salon 15" LCD Systems Monitor in Aft Cabin - connected to Garmin 5212 Multifuntion Display, and to the underwater camera and engine room camera Convenience Features A great deal of thought, design, manhours and funds has gone into making this vessel the most convenient and easy-to-operate vessel. "A vessel is as easy to operate as the sum total of the various individual components. Make each task easy and all-together you will achieve synergy" Convenience features include: - Matrix-Connected Electric Fluid Change Pump: Makes it trivially easy to change engine oil for the main engine and the generator. See more details of this pump below.
- Electric Anchor Windlass with Wireless Remote Control: An anchor windlass makes the job of raising anchor very easy, and an electric unit makes it double so. However an electric windlass with a wireless remote control gives you the utmost in ease and control of weighing anchor! You can raise anchor from any on this boat and even off this boat, within a 100 feet radius!!! Makes it trivially easy to inspect your chain while standing on the dock off the boat. Like watching TV, simply press the UP or DOWN button on the remote from anywhere within 100 feet of the boat, and watch your anchor go up or down. In addition to the wireless remote control there are ofcourse backup fixed install buttons to operate the windlass located next to the windlass and wired in the cockpit
- Cutter-Rigged Ketch with ALL 4 Sails on Furlers! It is well known that a Ketch, with its mizzen mast, makes for easier sail handling, given the distributed sailplan and the greater number of sail combination options. In addition to being a ketch, this vessel is also:
- Cutter Rigged: Has one additional sail between the main sail and the genoa/jib, which gives a strong extra boost to all-weather sailing, and is well positioned to be a storm sail
- All 4 Sails are on Furlers! The main sail has in-mast furling. The mizzen sail is also in-mast furled! The cutter sail is on a roller furling, and so also is the main genoa/jib! With all 4 sails on furlers, gone is the hesitation to raise or lower sails! No complex sail handling nor difficulty putting sails away. In its place you get very easy sail deployment and retrieval, with infinite amount of reef points!!!
- Wireless Remote Control Furlers for the front 3 sails: The furlers for the genoa/jib, staysail and the mainsail can also all be operated wirelessly from the same remote control! This makes it possible to deploy, reef or retrieve sails from anywhere within 100 feet of the boat, both from inside or outside the boat. You can even raise or lower sails while lying down in bed in the aft cabin, looking up through the skylight hatch!
- Dinghy Deploy/Retrival Electric Motor with Wireless Remote Control: An electric motor is mounted on the mizzen boom which a winch system that makes it easy to raise and lower the dinghy. This vessel comes with a 10-foot RIB dinghy with a 25 hp Johnson outboard - a very powerful unit that can plane with 5 adults onboard! There is also a special purpose aft-mounted dinghy platform for the dinghy plus outboard. You no longer need to first remove the outboard engine before stowing the dinghy. This electric hoist makes it easy to simply raise the entire dinghy plus motor unit unto the dinghy platform or lower it into the water. This electric crane motor also has a wireless remote control so you can operate it from anywhere within 100 feet of the boat!
- Multi-Function Single Unit Wireless Remote Control: Like a TV multifunction remote control, you can operate many different wireless control features of this vessel from one remote controller. Use one single wireless remote controller to operate all the wireless functions of this boat, including:
- Genoa/Jib Electric Roller Furler
- Staysail Electric Roller Furler
- Main sail Electric In-Mast Furler
- Electric Anchor Windlass
- Electric Dinghy Hoist Crane Motor
- Aft Cabin Mounted Huge Multifunction LCD Display with Wireless Remote Control for the Garmin 2000k Systems including GPS, Radar, AIS, Autopilot Navigation, Engine camera, Underwater camera, etc: Monitor all functions from the comfort of the aft cabin. Maintain excellent watch in the comfort of your aft cabin bed, while monitoring all systems of the boat, including its radar, GPS, AIS, and autopilot navigation. You can also monitor the underwater camera as well as the engine room camera, all from the comfort of your bed!
Glossary Matrix-Connected Electric Fluid Change Pump An electric pump that is connected to multiple inputs and outputs, which are independently selectable. This vessels pump is connected to the engine-oil change port of both the main 90hp engine, and the generator, allowing a very easy oil change. To change the oil, simply select the engine oil port on the input switch, set the output switch to an empty can, and flip the pumps ON switch. When the old oil is drained, simply put the output into a can of new oil and flip the reverse switch. Gone is all the messy pumping or use of mechanical wrenches. Oil change can now be done so neat, quick and easy it becomes trivial. It takes literally seconds to set the switches! This same pump also has input/output switch connections to the two diesel tanks. So you can easily transfer fuel from one tank to the other, and you can also POLISH the fuel as you transfer it, because it has fuel-polishers installed inline!!! |
