This auction is for a Alberg 30 sailboat. Please don't be mistaken the trailer is NOT included but can be purchased separately. I bought the boat with intentions of completing the restoration and crossing the North Atlantic. However after I bought it our sailing plans changed and I ended up buying another slightly bigger boat. An enormous amount of very nice quality work was completed by the last owner who did a great job with it but unfortunately could not complete due to medical issues. This was the third boat that he was restoring and took a great amount of pride in the work completed. This boat has:
-Completely rebuilt floor with space for batteries-Rebuilt sink cabinetry-New woodwork on bulkhead and in v-berth-Brand new chain plates/ proper bolts-Reinforced mast beam-Brand new thru hulls and valves-Lazorette setup for outboard-New electrical panels, charger etc. with marine wiring-New mast wiring-Nice aluminum spreaders that replace the wood spreaders-New wiring thru out-Brand new professional cushion covers-Solid deck that was painted and is ready for Kiwi Grip-75% of the hull is sanded for bottom paint-Top sides faredand primed-Interior painted-New and resealed port and starboard lights-New radio system-Rudder is in excellentshape-Teak is in very good condition-Has main sail and 3 head sails in reasonable condition(one of the head sails is very dirty and would be a good backup)-New bilge pump
This boat still needs some electrical work, reinstall deck fittings, cut for outboard, bottom paint and a some other projects but could definitelybe really nice and ready to sail this summer. You can see some great videos on youtube of the Alberg 30s that have been converted by James Baldwin. They are amazing with none of the diesel smell and heat in the cabin.
The trailer is available for sale for $4500. It has a GVW of 13500 lbs and can handle a load of 10,000 lbs. It has under 1000 miles and is in exceptional condition. If you are not interested in buying the trailer your are welcome to use the trailer to deliver the boat to your destination. I know a good boat hauler if you need one.
